Fine Arts Association of Breclav

Foundation of our Non-profit Association

Fine Arts Association of Breclav was founded as a natural successor of a former "Group 6", after its members teamed again after several years to organize an unfinished sequence of art shows titled "Expedition from Breclav". They were joined by members of used-to-be Friends of the Arts Club together with other characterful individuals.

At the moment, the Association has 15 active members, 1 financial manager with her individual artistic talents, who wishes to remain anonymous, and finally one mascot - Paddy, the dog. Paddy the dog deserved this honorable post by frequenting art shows and other cultural events approximately 5 times more often than an average citizen of the region of Breclav.

Not only the selection of mascots, but also selection of new members subdues to certain measures. Nevertheless, we are an open group and so these consist only in a quality of artistic performance and willingness to join efforts to increase the level of our presentation as well as the presentation of our city. This purpose actually lead us to the foundation of our Association, together with a certain generation affinity, friendship, and mutual inspiration.

Our thanks go to the city of Breclav for realising the importance of the Association for the local community, and granting us the right to use their spaces for our activities.
